ADA rail is also known as grabrail or pipe rail. ADA rail provides a continuous gripable railing system to assist handicapped individuals; for instance people in a wheel chair or the visually impaired utilize grab rail to help them navigate through commercial buildings. ADA railing is also used as a safety factor in hallways and stairwells, as a means of assisting people in case of a fire. ADA railing is typically installed on ramps, in corridors and around staircases.
Atlantic Aluminum custom fabricates and bends graspable railing to match the natural inclines, corners and curves of ramps, stairs and hallways. With Atlantic Aluminum's custom bending, we can provide our customers grab rail with a continuous ADA loop while retaining a smooth finish. ADA railing is typically installed by mounting brackets to existing picket railing or directly onto a wall. AAP's OSHA trained installers will install all your railing to meet the safety and height requirements mandated by the building codes.
Our aluminum ADA railing is made with a Kynar finish and available in standard and custom colors. As always, stainless steel fasteners are used to prevent corrosion and uphold the integrity of the railing system.
