Salvation Army Red Kettle

During the Christmas of 2007, Atlantic Aluminum Products joined the Salvation Army to raise contributions for needy Sussex County children through the Angel Tree Fundraising program.  Read the letter AAP received from Lieutenants Chas and Debbie Engel from the Sussex County Salvation Army thanking them for their outstanding support.

Dear Monet and our Friends at Atlantic  Aluminum Products:

Christmas 2007 is now over, but one of the most important things on  our mind right now is to Thank You for your wonderful help this year.  My husband and I have been truly blessed during our first year here by the support of our dedicated  friends like you!

During the past holiday season, we were able to provide Christmas meals for 490 people in need, toys and stockings for 244 young people and personally visited and distributed gifts to 2913 people in 16 nursing homes/senior centers and the prison.

The red kettle effort was extremely successful as well, raising about 60% more than last year’s campaign.  We could not have done this without your crucial help!  We are extremely grateful to you for all your support which has helped the less fortunate in our community to have a brighter holiday.

Thank you again for your compassionate, giving heart and being a vital member of our Christmas effort for the year of 2007 and helping us to "Do the most Good".
