The Origins of Atlantic Aluminum ProductsAtlantic Aluminum Products opened in Greenwood, Delaware in 1996. We are a local business with strong connections to our community and customers. We began as a humble business committed to upholding the integrity of our product, our customers, and our employees and although our company has grown, we continue to value these fundamental principles.
Stability and GrowthBe certain of AAP’s stability and growth! In Spring 2007 we completed our first warehouse. This gave Atlantic Aluminum the ability to purchase direct from the aluminum mills – We Cut out the Middleman and reduced our costs for our customers!
Spring 2008 brings completion of our newest fabrication facility. The new space will allow us to build and store more materials. This will reduce our shipping overhead and benefit our customers with lower costs!
In Your CommunityAtlantic Aluminum Products has participated in many special events which focus on improving the well-being of families and communities. We have donated not only the resources but the time to help our neighbors near and far. During the 2007 Holiday Season, AAP "adopted" 27 children from Sussex County Delaware. We collected over 200 toys, clothes, movies and games to help give local families a Merry Christmas.
Atlantic Aluminum Products also completed the siding and roofing at a Habitat for Humanity home in Concord Village, Seaford, DE. The homeowner is a single mother with two teenage daughters.
In February 2008, Atlantic Aluminum Products was selected to take part in an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The Delaware episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is unique, because it will showcase the remodeling of not one, but two homes on Clayton Street in Wilmington.
